Lena was born in Alice Springs in 1997 and grew up in Amata, Pukatja (ernabella). She was raised by Nyunmiti Burton and Jennifer Ingkatji. Lena went to school in Ernabella and then moved to Adelaide.
Lena paints the seven sisters story, she started painting in 2022 she learning from the elders that she paints with in the Adelaide studio.
