Jennifer, born in 1964 at Mulga Park, a cattle station near the APY Lands in the Northern Territory. She is a mother of seven and a devoted grandmother, spending much of her time caring for her grandchildren. She's also a skilled camera person and editor, with a decade of experience in the remote media industry across various communities like Pipalytjara, Irrunytju (Wingellina), and Umuwa. She's also an accomplished painter, having worked with Ninuku Arts in Kalka and Kayili Arts in Patjarr community. Inspired by her time in Western Australia's Patjarr community, her fluid and organic painting style captures the essence of the Kungkarrakalpa Tjukurpa (Seven Sisters Dreaming). Using a brush and punu (small stick), she creates compositions with great depth, where shapes seem to float on the canvas. Her use of vibrant colours flowing into each other creates a mesmerising blended effect. Jennifer's art is not just about colours; it's about storytelling. With confidence and skill, she depicts tales of strong women, the land, the desert, and dreamtime, often focusing on the Seven Sisters narrative. Despite her busy life, she continues to travel between communities, painting at various art centres and sharing her stories.
