Keith Minunga is a senior Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara man who holds much cultural knowledge. Born in 1957, Keith lives between Umoona and Oodnadatta in far North South Australia. Keith began painting alongside his wife Jeannie Minunga and sister Kay Finn at Umoona Art Centre in October 2021. Keith's paintings depict people coming together or meeting on Country. These 'meetings' are of either the same, or different language groups coming together, whether being kids at school or two groups meeting at Marla. Each work contains rich history from Keith's observations and stories on the APY Lands.
