Pearl Austin is a community leader, educator and artist at Umoona Arts, Coober Pedy. Pearl grew up in Coober Pedy and has worked at the Coober Pedy School as an Aboriginal Education Worker for over 30 years. She is a dedicated community member, sits on the Umoona Community Council and has been a long-time advocate for the establishment of an art centre in Umoona.
