Pearl Austin is a community leader, educator and artist at Umoona Arts, Coober Pedy. Pearl grew up in Coober Pedy and has worked at the Coober Pedy School for over 30 years. She is a dedicated community member, sits on the Umoona Community Council and has been a long-time advocate for the establishment of an art centre in Umoona.
